There is also a photo of 501 with very tall wire connected stakes (in Canadian archives). Not sure why you combine boxcar in the one-off category. I've always read there were 10 boxes, 1001-1010 - not part of any 501 connection other than the basic size/design.

I'm really hoping you meant to say 90
17' flat cars... this is the second time I've seen you say 90 14s so I have to beg the question.
