Silver Plume may have an unintended ally in the CHS in the CHS's pursuing a highly questionable and totally baffling course of action.
Breckenridge and all of Summit County are realizing the benefits of keeping the hotels, motels and condos filled year round... without resorting to gambling. Perhaps the almost former Silver Plume operator will find a warm reception there. Imagine, trackage Breck to Frisco again, and the possiblity of Boreas Pass to Como.
I wouldn't count of Boreas, though, many high $$$$$$$$$$$ homes have been built up there and the residents are all ready complaining about the traffic over Boreas Pass Road. Imagine their horror to listen and see a stinky, smelly, smokey old steam locomotive. What a grand thought!!!
