Great topic Jerry, it took me five kids, but finally my youngest took an interest in Trains. Our best trip was up to Alaska in 2011. Now he is a cool college student, but we did meet up in Durango and rode the Cascade Trains last month. I was able to convert my 10 year old grandson. He has strayed somewhat from the truer path, he lives in the Easter Time Zone. It is hard to complain that he likes baseball and soccer too. But I got him back on the straight and narrow last fall, riding behind NKP 765 and seeing 611 in Spencer. We have ridden the D&S and C&TS several times. Covid derailed further rehabilitation. But the three granddaughters like the Model Railroad room and I have three younger grandsons to work on. Trains are fun with kids. My youngest son at Fraser BC on the White Pass, and with 107 in Skagway. My oldest grandson at Osier a couple years ago, and last fall getting a closer look at the 611.
