They got pulled all the time in Skagway for traction motors and whatever else. The nice thing is the 101's are a lot sturdier and put up with way more abuse than any of the rebuilt stuff so they should last on the D&S for quite some time. I'd love to see what those guys think about running them, considering they're the first "real" diesels to show up in Durango.
