Final part, I swear!
The last photo I took in Antonito, showing the shops and the back of 484. After this, I headed back to Alamosa.
The following morning, before leaving, I headed over to the SLRG yards to see what was there. Unfortunately, all the photos I got were pretty bad, but I figured they're worth sharing regardless.
A couple F units sitting near the depot. I don't think these have moved an inch since I first saw them in 2016.
One of the many, many passenger cars sitting in Alamosa. Still curious what IPH was trying to accomplish by gathering all of them here.
Ex-LS&I 20 sits behind a pile of tires, with 18's tender behind it. Alas, these were the only remnants of the SLRG's steam program I found in Alamosa. After taking this, I headed on home.
As with all my trips to the C&TS, this one was great, even if it wasn't entirely normal. Looking forward to the next one, whenever it happens!
