Re: A trip to the C&TS- 7/5/20 (Part 2)

After catching the 488 outside of Antonito, I headed down to my next and final spot, Sublette. It was a pretty interesting place, with all the old buildings and whatnot.



After about an hour of waiting, the 488 showed up again with the daily train to Osier.

After watching the 488 leave Sublette, I headed on down to Chama to take some photos there. Would've liked to follow the train to Osier, but I was unable to this time around.

On the way to Chama, a pretty bad rainstorm started, and it was still going strong when I got there, so I figured I'd go get lunch and wait for it to die down before taking photos. However, getting lunch in Chama is easier said than done. After a lot of driving around, I found a Subway inside an old Mexican restaurant and ate there. Thankfully, the rain had died down by the time I was done, so I headed over to the yard. I was worried it would start up again though, so I didn't take as many photos as I was hoping to. Anyways...



OY sits near the shops, awaiting its next assignment.



The shed was closed up, but taking photos through a little crack between the doors was still possible. Here's the 315 (disguised as D&RG 425) sitting in there.
