Earlier this month, I traveled to Alamosa for the 4th of July, and naturally, I had to squeeze in a trip to the C&TS. This was my first time taking photos between Antonito-Osier (on my previous trip, I had mainly focused on the areas west of there). Without further ado, let's get started...
To start off, I stopped at Cole Park in Alamosa to take a look at the 169. Since my last visit, its appearance has been greatly improved. It appears to have been cosmetically restored, and best of all, the fake diamond stack and oil headlamp are gone. Next... how about we take it down to Antonito and run it with 168?
The next morning, I headed down to Antonito to take a few photos around the yard and whatnot. 488 was on the point of that day's train.

After taking a few more photos (some of which I'll put in a later post), I headed out to my first spot right outside of Antonito. After a bit of waiting (as usual), the 488 showed up:
