I've done a google-based search of the forums, and a google search of the internet, checked the books I own and I haven't found an answer to this question, so I thought I would throw it out and see if anyone could help.f

I understand OV was a home-build, in Burnham shops, I believe? But what about the flat car it's mounted on? Was it a platform built specifically for the spreader, or was it a re-use/rebuild of a 6000 series flat car?
