I've stayed at the Narrow Gauge Railroad Inn within the last three years and it was adequate. Since I use it just for a place to spend the night, it's been acceptable. I had a reservation there for the August Victorian Roundup and they had a weekly special for $200. When I called to cancel, I got voice mail but a lady called back later and was quite understanding. When a charter is leaving 30 minutes before sunrise, not having to drive from Alamosa is a big deal. It is very convenient to be able to just walk over to the RR.
