What kind of snake was that??

As for the generator, I don't mind it! I believe that current FRA rules require the engine to have a light on, however, most of the D&RGW days this was not the case. Can anyone tell me when the rule was made for headlights to be on? When, or did it apply to the Rio Grande? Honestly, this engine, on the D&S, without a spark arrestor, and no headlight, is a treat IMHO....
