These cars were bought last year for use on the Rockwood to Cascade trains. These cars were excess to the C&TS and they were sold. Idea was that these would be used on the short turn around trains instead of using equipment regularly used on the Silverton trains.

These cars were discussed in the thread Before and After from early January.
