On 7/7/49 Bob Richardson took photos of the Cimarron yard being scrapped using #360. Two can be found on pg 129 of "Scenic Line of the World" , CRA #8 1970
Same book, on page 127 has two pictures by John Maxwell of #456 on the last eastbound freight (5/28/49) which has a long string of gons. I've always wondered if some of these wound up as part of the scrappers train. There are also pictures from the Summer of '49 of #278 working the Sapinero branch out of Gunnison and hauling carloads of rail from the Black Canyon/Cerro Summit line East for (probably) scrap but I forget where I saw those.
That's all I can think of. Unlike the RGS 3 years later, the scrapping of this line doesn't seem to have drawn many photographers. Of course it went a lot faster too.
