The first steaming of Welsh Pony is excellent news and a real credit to the staff at Boston Lodge. Work on James Spooner, and on all major internally-funded projects, has been at a standstill during the Covid 19 closure period. The restoration of Welsh Pony has continued because it has been funded by a specific appeal.

The FR expects to announce plans for a limited reopening by mid-July. Travel into Wales for non-residents, and travel more than 5 miles from home for residents, has been banned since March and this is only ending just now.
