The picture links are now complete and provide a good map of the grade that we hiked on 6/29. Use the South Fulton button below the map to zoom into the grade that was hiked. A project for another day is to determine if any of the legs cross over the Lake Mary road. We also want to head north in Fulton Canyon and explore another spur that branches off into a side canyon. There are so many grades to explore up in this area.

Some of my favorites from this trip.
I liked seeing the bridge timbers with some fasteners still in place. All of these big logs are really deteriorating.
Finding some switch ties that marked the location of an unexpected spur.
The extensive stacked rocks for the grade and bridge beams.
A bridge site with a stick of CF&I Sec 451 rail.
Long stretches of rock roadbed.
Lots of ties at the junction of another spur.
A bridge beam off to the side that had been chopped to form a flat on one end.
Lots of stacked rock for another bridge on a spur that doesn't go very far.
