Michael I was an Air Force photographer stationed at Yokota Air Base. I think I shot more photos of Soviet Bears and Badgers from an F102 than I did the D51s. I was shooting 35mm with a Nikon range finder and medium format B&W with a Mamiya. In 1974, I was an instructor in the Air Force photo school in Denver, I could use the darkrooms at night and on weekends and had a lot of my negs and slides in my locker in the instructor offices. Someone broke into it and stole all that was there including some D&RGW F units, the Japanese photos and some slides of the first C&TS runs. I think it was a fellow Air Force instructor as students were not allowed in that area and if it had been a student, someone would have likely notice. All I have left of my Japanese railroad photos are a set of proof sheets from the B&W negs. All both steam, electric, and a diesel switcher on Tachikawa Air Base bring in JP4 jet fuel in tank cars.
