Brian, if it was a circular tour from Edmonton to Calgary through the mountains, it could have been Lake Louise. But otherwise one of the pioneer villages in either Edmonton or Calgary that both feature old stations and historic trains. The Lake Louise Station Restaurant is not to be missed if you’re on the Trans Canada Hwy west of Banff - the displays of CPR chinaware and silverware are neat, and the food and train watching superb.
And Hank, yes I’ve heard that joke about the wall. I think our tourism industry is missing those American dollars though. And I’ve missed two planned trips (Maine and Colorado) due to the virus so far.
