I'm realizing that these aren't as interesting as my first White Pass posts, but you never know what people might see.
Don't know the location of this old wood boxcar set aside along the ROW. Somebody out there will know (Bruce???) and heavens, is it maybe even still there?
We had the rear observation car all to ourselves right through from Whitehorse to Bennett. My wife snuck this fuzzy shot of me freezing out back, but well worth enduring it for the view. Note one of Roger's eagles in the upper left.
We passed the other train at Bennett - Timothy, I think your pickup was blue??? - otherwise the one on this northbound could well have been it.
Last shot - the station at Pennington BC, on the shore of Lake Bennett, about half way between Carcross and Bennett. Bruce or someone else local, is the station still there? I couldn't find it off hand on Google Satellite view.
I know I have some more White Pass shots around here somewhere, so we'll see what shows up. Have some early C&TS shots to post at some point as well.
Cheers,
Ralph
