After reaching the end of the spur, I retraced my steps and again headed west on the "mainline". I quickly came to a cut:
As I walked through the cut, I noticed another grade diverging on the right:
This new spur curved to the north and was quite brushy in spots:
After about 500 feet headed in a northeast direction the spur ended in a open brushy area:
Here I found a few spikes, pieces of pipe, and then one of the pulleys from a high lead logging system:
This artifact is about 2 x 3 feet in size and was too heavy to lift to look for manufacturer marks.
