There's a fellow who brought a large Civil War era wet plate camera to the WW&F a few years ago. He tried a number of shots. I remember he sang "Oh Susanna" to time the exposure. I'd like to see his photos, they would look neat if nothing modern is in frame. It took a good bit of time to set things up and everyone had to hold still but we enjoyed the experience.
I wouldn't mind trying photographs with my fathers Brownie box camera if I could get some film. It's too bad we are kind of spoiled by digital photography.
