A great location and one that is fairly easily accessible by public footpath and being on access land. Just driving along the A55 road gives you a good overall view and a sense of the dizzying heights. I’ve been trying to find a photo of Penmaen outside it’s shed. Here are a few of AditNow-a site devoted to abandoned mines and quarries with an overlap with industrial/narrow gauge railroads.
