The Ute Pass Railroad is a 7 1/2 in. Gauge outdoor model railroad located northeast of Durango, built by Philip Nilsson. This Video shows the Alta Visa Spur. He started building the railroad in 1990 and has put 30 years of work into line 1-5 and the 3 main spur lines:
The railroad is a freelanced "Eastern Division" of the Rio Grande Southern, so all his equipment is based on or is RGS/D&RGW. He has built all his locomotives from scratch, including this climax you see in the video.
I'm working on filming the entire railroad, besides this one so far I have line 1 on youtube, and I'm hoping to do line 2 and 3 next.
