2005 a good snow year

In 2005 16 of us took the winter run on the D&S. We almost ran the attendant out of libations but, the biggest thrill came from 2 strangers. They had traveled from Virginia so he could propose to his girl friend on the train. We had vacated the back of the car so they could be alone and the train was still moving as he proposed. She accepted and when they returned inside they got a standing ovation. The picture was made at the Cascade "Y" so they could have a record . They will never know how lucky they are that we turned down an offer to rent the whole car. That provided them the last 2 seats.
