If I am "ranting" about policies that "I disagree with" then you are "ranting" about policies that you "agree with"
Alternatley, it could be that I thought I was having a civil discussion about facts that I have found in my quest to figure out what is going on and how the groups (narrow gauge preservation that attracts tourists) that I am involved with may or may not be affected as some of these facts may help to explain why the various tourist railroads in Colorado are doing what they are doing.
Certainly I did offer an opinion of what may happen if all of the Colorado tourist industry (including the railroads) is forced to stay closed all year and how that may negatively affect things, that would be a part of a "discussion" of a relevant topic. "Discussion" involves differing views, civil discourse and even possibly dissention.
