Hi Hank and Timothy. And here I thought the CPR example of hydraulic filling was unique. Well apparently not!

And as to the article’s Author, David Davies is a Wales ex-pat who lived in Kamloops, and who helped me do a lot of research in the British Columbia area. He’s getting on in years and I lost track of him two years ago, but just last week discovered he has moved even further west. At some point I’ll give him a call and he’ll be thrilled an article from 30 years ago is still getting some traction. I don’t think he “does Internet”, but I’ll mention the video and I’m sure a friend or relative can play it for him. He’ll love it.

PS update: These posts spurred me to give David a call. As I thought, he was tickled pink that his old article is still being referred to. He hadn’t heard about the movie but is keen to see it, so his daughter will play it for him next time she’s over. It’s nice to make someone’s day.
