I wonder if it had to do with the company involved with the product. They work during the day to fill the car, and don't work at night, so that's a good time to pick-up loads and leave empties for the next day shift to fill. On the other end if trains go out at night they might reach their destinations during daylight hours when the recipient might want to unload so they can put to use the product faster. Perhaps it was a matter of "The quicker it leaves the sooner it will get there". Or it could be just bad management!!!!!
