Continuing with our exploration:
I hiked back down to the base of the Crow Peak incline and then began searching the north side area below the incline. I quickly found a railroad grade heading back the the northwest:
We are looking from this grade back towards the bottom of the incline. Maybe this one goes to Roundtree Saddle?
I hiked back along this grade. Here's a photo about 100 feet in looking back at all of the downed trees covering the grade:
Here we are looking out towards more downed trees along the grade:
If this grade goes to Roundtree Saddle, its going to be a fun couple of hours getting there...
After travelling about 500 feet the grade came to an abrupt end:
This must have been a short spur to log the north side of the ridge. The sharp peak visible through the trees is Signal Peak (Devil Peak). Any line that went to Roundtree Saddle must have originated somewhere else.
