Definitely GM (Chevy or GMC), and with an intake for a spread bore 4 barrel quadrajet carb. In the first picture, behind the hole for the distributor, on the lip above the bell housing mount, would be the casting number that would tell you year and size of block. Most likely this came from a truck, and if the intake is original to the motor (toss up), then it is probably a 350 small block. Judging by the EGR valve on the intake, its probably a stock motor from the late 60's to early 80's. It doesnt have the mechanical Choke rods (or provizions for them), so probably not 60's. The Bracket coming off the left side of the intake is an AC pump rear bracket. This looks to be a '70s part. My guess would be a late 70's or maybe very early 80's GM truck engine.
