This year, while we were painting mileposts and signs we determined that Milepost 322 was a section milepost. The post has "SE?" and "22?" (only the top of the second two is showing) on the back in raised characters. This type of marking is shown in the 1900 D&RG Standard Post Document.
My question is, does anyone have information showing sections? I would like to bring back the historic section marking on the proper mile posts. To date we have repainted 292 and 310 to the 1906 style with a "D." 292 "M." style (Denver 292 miles).
