#44 will be starting a two year overhaul this fall. Extensive boiler work, turning the drivers, tightening up the frame and spring rigging, rewired. The boiler will be removed and sent to Denver to the shop of the company that does all our boiler work. The drivers will go to Durango to be turned, with remaining work done at the Silver Plume shop.
