Greg,
I think that since the roundhouse is done (see picts) they wanted to have a big party. It is still going on today and everybody is having a great time! This was a really big thing for the CRRM to undertake and is absolutely amazing.
Hopefully it won't be used as a "dining" room for long and some stuff will be moved into it. But don't look for the 318 to go in there anytime soon. It needs a new boiler delivered first.
When the turntable pit is finished and the table and tracks installed later this year, it will be unbelievable!
