Greetings:
Mackie Clemens Fuel Co. operated a fleet of 5 three foot gauge Davenport 0-4-0Ts at their mine in Mulberry, Kansas, possibly as late as the 1970s'. Does anyone out there have any photographs of this obscure operation? All are believed to be in existence including MCF # 55 (Davenport c/n 2081) which wandered around but is now "G.A.Boeckling" at Cedar Point, Sandusky, Ohio. Other known road numbers include: 22, 77 (Davenport c/n 2082), 88 and 111 (Davenport c/n 2124). There was also a standard gauge 0-4-0T which had been converted from three foot gauge.
