With #3 back in the Mill Spur, #7 ran around the her train and cleared up in the siding.
With #7 in the clear #9 arrived with the her train and pulled up to clear the main so #7 and #3 could depart.
We hopped back aboard #7 and ran south back to the big meadow north of Alna Center. He we were given several runbys of #7 and #3. Apparently, the Monson RR was rather informal and had few run-a-round tracks. They seemed to push as many freight cars as they pulled behind the engine, therefore #3's "midtrain" consist was quite normal for the Monson.
