Steve,
Which web sites did you find? The first #3 was an 18 ton Porter, from Guatemala. It was sold in 1983, went to Hinkley Minnesota and is now in Japan. The second #3 is in pieces out behind the shop and is the Quincy and Torch Lake #3, an 1894 Brooks. This engine is a basket case, but came with a brand new boiler that had been slated for a different Q&TL loco and would require modifying the frame to install on the #3. If mana ever falls from heaven, the #3 could be rebuilt, or a new loco could be built under the new boiler. Until then, the parts have been stabilized.
The 2-8-0 is an 1894 Baldwin from the Ferocarril Potosi y Rio Verde. It was FCCPyRV #4. She has a cracked driver and serious boiler problems. Probably a candidate for sale/trade or possible cosmetic restoration.
At this time, getting the 464 back in service and keeping the 4-6-0 #2 in service is as much as the shop crew has time and budget for. We would all love to have money for the Q&TL, so we could have an engine with Michigan historical roots, but nothing is planned at this time.
