Thanks Mark for the feedback. I have not received mine yet. I think they are on the San Juan RPO waiting for OY to open Cumbres....SMILE. Actually a big snow storm in Denver is holding up FedEx. Of course I got final PDFs from Chris, so I knew what a fantastic job he did with the design and layout.
I first became interested in the K-36s when the Rocky Mountain Chapter NMRA published photos and drawings of it in the Helper newsletter in the late 50s when I was in high school. Dick Kindig did a TRAINS article on the Ks in 1961 and that spurred my interest even more. When I met Dick, he encouraged me to do a book as I had done a lot of research, but career, travel, and 8 years of caregiving delayed completing it
I started on the K-28 even before the printing started on this one.
