Based on the amount of new/replacement material going into this.... It would seem like an awfully good idea to design this out before purchasing dollar 1 of parts. You indicate Climax had a 36" truck design, might be best to compare the individual parts between the two and see what's common and what's not. I realize there aren't likely complete drawings, but that seems like a lot less effort and results in a lot more certainty that discombobulating the existing truck to find.... That you have to essentially 'build new'.
