Rivets for HOn3 scale outside valve gear

Hello,

As I am planning to convert one of my HOn3 MDC outside-framed 2-8-0's to a fictitious logging railroad locomotive, but with its appearance based on White Pass & Yukon #69, I need to scratchbuild some Walschaerts outside valve gear for it. This has been done before, by a model-maker who built a South African gold mine layout called "Riversdale" in the 1990's, and on which he ran 3 MDC outside framed 2-8-0s, converted to run on 9mm gauge track..

I have some suitable nickel-silver strip but not any suitable rivets to join it all together.

Where can I get those, as I have a German Weinert Riveting Set which I can use to install them?

Or, are there suitable screws and nuts which could be used instead?
