One clue for you is that Rich Muth is a longtime Friends/C&TSRR 'docent'.
And what does a docent do? Well, one might say that he/she has a repetitive spiel, and a slang version of listening to a spiel is sometimes referred to as "drinking the Koolaid," so the person delivering the spiel could be referred to as "peddling Koolaid".
