I haven't seen that. Here is a suggestion that may narrow down the problem:

When you see a message that appears to be truncated, use the "Quote" button (even if you aren't intending to reply). Then see if the [apparently] truncated text shows up in the quote. If you do see a difference in the quoted message, that suggests to me the problem is how your computer is formatting the text it receives.

If so, I'd experiment with changing (reducing) font sizes to see what happens. On a "PC", holding Control and pressing the minus key (-) may shrink text. The counterpart to enlarge text is Control +. Not guaranteed to work with every device and browser combination, but worth a try.
