Mr. Cole is certainly the one to talk to regarding 50th Anniversary goodies, Grant -
At least if the 40th Anniversary is anything to go by. He scored me not just one but two (2, count 'em, 2) dark green polos, one 'L' and one 'XL'

Note my Arrogant Bastardly addition of "INSTIGATADOR" below the C&TS logo, even though all I instigated was helping Alan Loomis put together the re-enactment train whereas Johnny Coal did the hard part of organizing the slide shows & round-table discussion and the recording thereof on video, AND had the plaques made naming the 1970 volunteers who helped to save and resuscitate the railroad. (SFAIK, the two plaques are still hanging – one in each depot – and IMHO they should remain there so long as the railroad lasts.)
As for Phillipe's, I would just as soon try
The Pantry next August – just for the sake of variety (if I'm not already in Narrow Gauge Country).

p.s. Don't forget that the 50th Anniversary days and dates match up exactly with the days and dates of 1970 -
• Wednesday, July 1, 1970 – 64 miles of railroad between Antonito, CO and Chama, NM purchased by the CO-NM RR Authority.
• Tuesday, Sept. 1, 1970 – First shipment of cars & locos purchased by CO-NM RR Authority delivered to Antonito by the D&RGW.
• Sunday, Sept 6, 1970 – First C&TS train from Antonito, CO arrives in Chama, NM after rehabilitation of last few miles of track.
• Sunday, Oct. 4, 1970 – First C&TS excursion - The Governor's Special - operated from Antonito to Osier and return.
pps. I'm not sure if Roger will be creating a poster similar to the one for the 40th ten years ago, but I'm certainly willing to help in any way that I can.
Here's a low-res copy of a tender logo that was printed by
Design--a-Sign as a magnet ten years ago, along with a low-res copy of a revision for this year

It would probably work better if done as a press-on vinyl sheet, on the outside chance that one (and only one) of the K-36's might be painted up to celebrate the Anniversary
