Re: Narrow Gauge Climax

Good evening.... just spotted this thread while posting a fund-raiser ad for Calendars to help finance our (Corry RAILS) retrieval and restoration of Climax A-313 from Alaska. As far as Existing Narrow Gauge Climax... I wont get into all of the history or a lot of current details... we will have a section on our soon (within the next few weeks) to be posted Website (watch for it at corryrails.com) which will be a compilation of information, historical and current, on all 21 existing Climaxes.... and probably several replicas as well.. A-313 15t Ng - 36" 1902 - currently near Eagle River, AK - to be shipped to Corry, PA in early Summer 2020 where it will be restored to operational over the next few years.
B-522 20t Ng - 42" 1904 - Tokomaro, NZ static
B-1203 25t Ng - 42" 1913 - Shantytown, NZ static
B-1317 30t Ng - 42" 1914 - Te Awamutu, NZ static
B-1323 40t Ng - 36" 1914 - Pisgah Forest, NC static
B-1650 23t Ng - 42" 1924 - Pukemiro, NZ in advanced restoration
B-1653 28t Ng - 42" 1923 - Glenorchy, Tasmania, AUS static
B-1692 50t Ng - 48" 1928 - Felton, CA (started as Std....Plans to take it to 36") totally apart
B-1694 25t Ng - 30" 1928 - Belgrave,Victoria, AUS operational

B-X28 20t or 25t started as 36" approx. 1893..... now std. Romayor, TX
