Haven't heard the "flying jib" term for years Wayne. I gave up rolling the logs/rings down the bank since they kept on going off into the neighbours, and they can buy their own firewood.
So I now use the Skyline which is far more versatile and quick. It is a little on the light side but easy to rig, I'd like a 3 drum winch and portable spar but upgrading to a proper cable would not be worth the $ invested as everything else would need to be upgraded as well and I'm winding down my harvesting rate.
I planted a couple of hundred Nitens and Fraxinoides in the mid to late eighties, have culled about 70+ by now, some will stay for shelter.
And the photographic possibilities are great even if the camera work isn't.
P.S. I use my VP Ute to haul the Incline.
