To me a ringer would be someone who worked there during this time, so guess you qualify as the winner! Now that and $1.00 will get you

Someone mentioned Carlos, and indeed I think he was part of the crew, although not seen in the video clip. I think he was a fireman, perhaps on 488. I know one year either 91 or 93, I have a shot at Cumbres as they plowed east of the crossing and we see each engine creep by and Carlos is sitting in the fireman's seat of one of the engines. He was just a kid then!!!
Interesting side story, is that I recognized Evans since I had seen him working on the Conway Scenic when I was shooting video up there in September of 1989!!! Not sure he stuck around long after the Rotary run that year!
