Mr. Patten is a very modest guy. He is the genius behind the wwfry website, one of the most informative out there. He also helps build track and does whatever else is necessary.
The museum is holding a picnic/open house on Saturdy and Sunday, August 12 and 13. They will have #10 in service, and will also have a Model T Ford railcar running. Vague promises have been made about a photo freight or mixed train as well. This would be a great opportunity to see what the WW&F Railway Museum is all about, as well as a chance to discover the mystique of Maine -- which some believe is stronger than that of the Southwest!
