Three of the Chateaugay engines ended up in the west.... Two very new Baldwin 2-6-0s, No 15 &B 16 (not every Chateaugay loco was from Dickson) to the Tonopah railroad, then to the Sumpter Valley... those two rebuilt, relettered, and photographed at Baldwin... Chateaugay No 9, a Dickson 2-6-0 ended up in Needles CA, likely associated with the Mohave & Milltown, No 2, and was later placed in the Colorado River as riprap by the AT&SF. The owner of the M&M had an office in the Bullock building in Philadelphia where Brock, owner of the Tonopah railroad had his office... It is likely that the Dickson was sold to the Tonopah then diverted to the M&M...
