The grade is still privately owned beyond the Mountain City trestle site and most of it beyond that is obliterated. The most fun we ever had was sneaking ,no whistle or bell, out of the depot to see if we could catch the nude sunbather on the roof of the artist's building. The only thing that made that monotonous run tolerable was the #14 was fun to run.
The "new" RR (#4) will again just be a "shuffle". I would FAR rather see someone recreate part of the Gilpin Tram, now that would be cool! JP
