Based on comments by Fritz Klinke and others in this earlier thread,

The Silverton Depot was at one point owned by the San Juan County Historical Society, but Charles Bradshaw [at the time, the D&SRR owner] purchased the Depot from the Society to use as a ticket office. Ticket sales were later moved into the Grand Imperial Hotel after its renovation by the Harper family.
