hmm...

somewhere on the 3 recent threads about 497/483, someone mentioned that 493 wouldn't have a dog house, nor would it need one, if the D&S really needed a dog house they could just refurbish the one currently on 493's old cistern, and if most of the wood on it was too weathered away they could easily build one them selfs.

A dog house would be a neat decoration but the D&S just doesn't have any scenarios these days that require the use of a dog house, hence why they were removed off the locomotives in the first place...
