Here is a map of the 1929-30 camp based on our ground observations:
We are looking southwest in this picture. Gary is standing on the point between the main spur (behind him), the downhill spur (to the right) and the line to the incline (he's standing on):
This photo looks approximately northeast:
Gary is still in the same place standing on the line towards the incline. The main spur heads uphill to the right. The downhill spur starts to Gary's left.
Here Gary is standing on the line to the incline. the middle spur is branching off to the right:
The photo looks northeast
Walking about 200 feet down the spur toward the incline brings us to a point where the grade begins to drop off sharply:
I think we've found the incline...
