Here's some more little artifacts we found along the way:
A broken coffee cup
what looks like a galvanized bucket or crushed wash basin
A spike. These are actually pretty rare in this area of the MSP grades...
On the grade heading down the mountain, we looked over the side and saw numerous black powder cans:
We finally reach the site of the 1929-30 logging camp and its incline down the mountain.
