Where was 454 scrapped?

Montrose? I find it odd that no photos seem to have surfaced of K-27 scrappings in the 1950's, nor information on where it was done, besides RGS 455 and 461 (at Ridgway, hauled out by truck). Were they cut up at Durango or hauled over to Alamosa? Given the number of photographers who frequented the narrow gauge in the 1950's, it would seem at least one picture of a K-27 being cut up would have been taken.
